Consultancy services are at the heart of BehaviourLAB. We work with our clients to help them solve people related challenges and design healthy, productive and sustainable organisations.
Beyond delivering consultancy services, BehaviourLAB is investing in research to further understand how Psychology can support individuals, teams and organisations. We want to create content people can easily engage with to support themselves and their teams to thrive.
Having a lasting impact is important to us, and social purpose is core to our values, so BehaviourLAB will dedicate a certain proportion of consultancy hours every year to supporting charities and good causes.
About Sam & Laura.
Sam and Laura are both Organisational Psychologists and we first worked together, as consultants, in 2008. Over the course of the next 6 years we worked closely on a number of major projects, including the London 2012 Olympics Games and the opening of Heathrow Terminal 2.
Laura left Arup in 2014, whilst Sam has left much more recently in August 2023. But we have remained friends and committed to working together again in the future.
We’re both passionate about business, designing workplaces that deliver the best outcomes for the organisation, whilst doing the right thing for the people. Through our work we aim to have a lasting impact on everyone we commit to working with, and importantly, enjoy the work that we do. We believe that when people have fun at work, they deliver their best work and are at their most creative.
BehaviourLAB is a much-anticipated dream for us both. It’s an opportunity for us to build a business that’s based on our values.
Sam Walsham
Meet Sam, our accomplished Organisational Psychologist and Organisational Development Practitioner with an impressive 18 years of experience. Before co-founding Behaviour Lab, Sam brought her expertise to Arup, where she served as the Global Director of People & Organisations. There, she led a fantastic team of consultants, working on everything from large-scale change projects to uplifting wellbeing initiatives.
Sam’s journey has taken her through diverse industries, collaborating with giants like Dubai Airports and Heathrow Airport, contributing to Major Projects such as High Speed 2 and Crossrail, and supporting charitable organizations like the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Ramblers Association.
Her passion shines through as she tackles a wide array of challenges, from designing and implementing new Operating Models to leading Leadership Development programs and supporting organisations in meeting Net Zero targets. Sam is not just about experience; she’s about creating positive, impactful change!
